ABOUT US
At LD Dance Co., the classes are focused on fun – there are no exams or pressure, children have enough of that to deal with at school these days!
Each week we work on routines to the latest music, as well as building on performance levels, flexibility and confidence. It’s also a great way to keep fit and make new friends.
At the end of each term there will be a little performance for family and friends to enjoy, with a ‘'Christmas party & performance' and then a big 'Summer Show’ at a professional Theatre.

Meet the Teachers
Lisa Russell (Donne) is a professional dancer, with over 25 years of experience as a teacher. She believes that the best teachers are those that have had hands on experience in the field that they are teaching in. And she has had plenty of that!
After performing on board Americas largest cruise liners in production shows, Lisa returned to London to dance professionally alongside her teaching. Her professional credits now include dancing on 'The X Factor' live shows with Olly Murs, touring with Boyzone and Take That, dancing alongside Prince and The Black Eyed Peas, 'Thriller Live' in the West End, as well as numerous music videos and live performances.
She loves that she can now pass on her knowledge and experiences to her students, believing that dance is not just about exams and grades but fun, performance and creativity.
Amelia trained in jazz, commercial, contemporary, street, hip hop and acro, and is now studying for her I.S.T.D teaching qualification after fantastic Dance A-Level results.
She’s performed in Sleeping Beauty at the Alban Arena, competed successfully in UK dance championships, and even appeared as a backup dancer in a professional music video!
Amelia brings so much creativity, energy and passion to every class — she loves inspiring confidence and technical growth in her students.
Tori has been dancing since the age of three — training in jazz, tap, ballet, commercial, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, modern and Latin! She holds a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre Performance and has lots of experience teaching children of all ages.
This Christmas, she’ll also be performing in pantomime (so exciting! 🎭).
Tori’s classes are all about building confidence, having fun and developing great technique.

Taught by a professional dancer who has performed in music videos, on major stages and even toured with pop stars! 🌟 Get ready to dance to the latest pop, dance, R’n’B and chart hits, learning high-energy routines and moves worthy of any music video. Fun, expressive and full of attitude — this class is all about confidence, performance and letting your inner star shine!
Contemporary/Lyrical
A beautiful, expressive style perfect for dancers wanting to take GCSE Dance or add another string to their bow! This class develops core strength, flexibility, musicality, discipline and technique — blending the grace of ballet with the freedom and fluidity to truly let go. Expect inspiring choreography, emotional connection and movement that tells a story. 🌙✨
Ballet
Our Ballet classes blend lyrical movement, the ISTD ballet syllabus, and performance technique, all while keeping the fun and relaxed ethos of LD Dance. 🌸
For our younger dancers, classes are full of imagination — using wands, scarves, bubbles and a mix of classical and Disney music to make learning magical. ✨
As children grow, we introduce elements of lyrical ballet, allowing them to express more freedom, emotion and artistry through their movement. Graceful, inspiring and full of joy! 🩰
Musical Theatre
Our Musical Theatre classes combine singing, dancing and acting to help children build confidence and performance skills in a fun, creative environment. Each lesson includes drama games, expressive movement and storytelling through dance, encouraging teamwork and imagination. Children will learn routines from well-known musicals while developing stage presence, coordination and self-belief — all while having a great time!
